20 Apr Williamson County Fair Block Challenge

Let the fun begin for the 2026 Williamson County Fair!

Connie Little (Williamson County Fair chair) has prepared kits for the Block Challenge and they are available for just $5. You can purchase one at our May CVQA meeting, or at The Quilting Squares in Franklin. Keep in mind that you don’t have to be a CVQA member to participate in the challenge – so encourage your friends to participate, too.

The theme for this year’s challenge is “As American as Apple Pie” (in celebration of our country’s 250th anniversary). The challenge is to create a quilt block that meets the criteria in the kit, and deliver it to the Fair committee by the end of July. The blocks will be assembled into a quilt, which will be raffled off at the 2026 Williamson County Fair in August.
