Hurrah! April 15th, along with morning freezing temperatures are history. It is time to get our spring and summer gardens in order. I love seeing the flowers emerge, and I’ll soon be enjoying some fresh picked vegetables – yummy! I love this time of year! I feel frustrated, however, as our days seem to be flying by at jet speed! Each month our Guild website becomes a more welcoming and valuable tool for each of us. I appreciate the efforts of Katie Rawls and Emily Collins, who are frequently fine tuning...

CVQA has a long history of charitable donations through our community outreach activities. For the past ten years, Karen Bays has led those efforts as chair of the Community Care Committee. Karen works tirelessly to identify areas of need and to lead a team of CVQA volunteers to help meet those needs. We have a unique opportunity at our May 5 meeting to meet representatives of a few of the charities to which we donate. Karen will introduce us to leaders from Bridges of Williamson County, Love on Wheels, and Tennessee...

Let the fun begin for the 2026 Williamson County Fair! Connie Little (Williamson County Fair chair) has prepared kits for the Block Challenge and they are available for just $5. You can purchase one at our May CVQA meeting, or at The Quilting Squares in Franklin. Keep in mind that you don’t have to be a CVQA member to participate in the challenge – so encourage your friends to participate, too. Also, thank you to the members who have signed up to help with the Membership Committee. As they say, “many hands make light...

My very favorite season of the year has officially arrived!! I love Spring with everything turning green, gorgeous flowers popping up, sunny skies, and warmer, longer days; new beginnings are everywhere!! My husband, however, has reminded me that we can still have frost until April 15th. Ugh! I won’t even consider that!! I hope that you enjoyed our March Guild Meeting as much as I did. Colleen Cassidy, along with Patti Hansen, did a fabulous job of organizing our very first ever “Anything Stash Sale!” Oh my golly, what a streamlined...
