22 Aug September Speaker – Kathleen Hardin
I bet many of us have a friend who can do it all…and our September speaker certainly fits that description! She sews, knits, crochets, dabbles in glasswork, gardening, flower arranging and wood working, and might even fix dinner on occasion for her spouse (a military man), two children, and two grandchildren.
You may know Kathleen Hardin from the many hats she has worn for our guild over the past 30 years: treasurer, workshop teacher, QOV coordinator, and presenter. We appreciate her willingness to come before us again to share how she and her husband are combining their hobbies in retirement. She will talk about their travels and how she still manages to quilt and sew when she’s on the road. As you can see from the photo below, when she’s on the road, she travels in style!
And by the way – if you are ever wondering about what to do with half-square triangles (HSTs), check with Kathleen!
