24 Jan February 4 Meeting Agenda
After we had to cancel our January meeting, First VP Michelle did some fancy footwork to adjust our 2025 calendar. Guest speaker Tracy Hansen (originally scheduled for February) has agreed to move to our June meeting, and we will cover the January agenda in February. Whew.
Our February 4 meeting will focus on What the Guild Has to Offer to YOU in 2025:
Pop Up Small Groups
Several members have offered to facilitate a “limited series” small group, where we can learn from one another in a small setting. There will be time to brainstorm other ideas for small groups and to sign up for your choice(s) at the meeting. Here are the options so far:
· Anna Maria Horner-inspired project – Marian Pickney
· Baltimore Album group – Mary Jo Harrison
· Crazy Quilt Stitches – Sarah Aldrich
· English Paper Piecing by hand – Valerie Curtis
· Harry Potter Project of Doom/Foundation Paper Piecing – Michelle Braisted
· Sashiko – Isie Radock
· UFO group – Joyce Oberle
· Wool Applique – Isie Radock
Get to Know the CVQA Website
Our website team will do a live demo of our website, showing you how to find important information about upcoming meetings and the work of CVQA. They’ll also tell us what’s in store for 2025, with development of a password-protected “Members only” page on the website. And they’ll show you how to renew your membership online…
Renew your Membership for 2025
…or you can renew the old-fashioned way by printing out the membership form and bringing it to the February meeting, along with your check or credit card. Don’t forget to tell us which committee you will serve on in 2025. We also will have blank forms at the meeting. Annual dues are $40.
