22 Aug “Fabric of a Nation” at the Frist
If you haven’t made it to the Frist Art Museum yet, there is still time. The Frist’s exhibit entitled “Fabric of a Nation: American Quilt Stories from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston” is on display until October 12. The exhibit features nearly 50 quilts and coverlets covering 300 years of American history. Karen Kuranda says “I saw this in Boston when it first opened. Stunning!” Jane Ann Wheeler says: “Do NOT miss the fabulous quilt exhibit currently showing … it is such a wonderful curation of different genres!” Jane Ann’s photo is below.
