Believe it or not, we have depleted our quilt inventory this month! We have donated 32 quilts to Tennessee Kids Belong. Pictured is Hilary (with TKB) receiving the quilts. She says the kids love them! These quilts go to the kids that are up for adoption. TKB videotapes the kids, letting them tell their story. Then they put the videos on their website for people who are considering adoption. I cannot think of more deserving people to get our quilts – children without a permanent family or home. I cannot imagine what these children have gone through. Thank you for contributing to those in our community that are not as fortunate as we are.

Valerie Curtis donated more baby quilt tops, and we will have several of them at the August meeting for you to take home and quilt. Please keep the baby quilts coming, as we are still donating baby quilts to the Graceworks “Our Little Angels” program. The last time we donated to them was in December, so I’d like to get another donation to them soon.

Our workdays are the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month. Our next workdays are August 14 and August 28. We meet at the Bethesda Senior Center, starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 2 p.m. Bring your lunch!
