19 Aug Community Care Committee

Hello CVQA members! August was another great month for the Community Care Committee: we received nineteen quilts, five totes, one walker caddy, eleven Owl Buddies, and ten pillowcases. Thank you for your contributions!

This month we donated two quilts, ten walker caddies, six totes and eight Owl Buddies to Mulberry Health & Rehabilitation (formerly Clairborne and Hughes Nursing). Their new activities director Christa was thrilled with our donations. She said the patients really like the tote bags, so keep them coming!

Our workdays are the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at the Bethesda Senior Center. Next workdays are August 27, September 10, and September 24. We start at 9 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. – bring your lunch!
