22 Aug Board of Directors Update

The nominating committee is hard at work identifying candidates for the CVQA 2026 Board of Directors. We will present the slate of candidates for a member vote at the November meeting.

Thank you to the two members who have volunteered to serve as 2nd Vice President and co-3rd Vice President for the 2026 board. You are awesome!

But we still need volunteers to serve as president and recording secretary. Please bear in mind that the president’s position can be shared as a co-presidency. And in 2026, the recording secretary will have access to an app called MINUTES AI. I piloted the app this year and it reduced my time to produce the minutes by more than 90%.

Serving on the board is a great way to build friendships with other guild members, while helping CVQA serve our community and meet our members’ needs. So don’t wait for us to call you. If you’d like to learn more about serving on the board, please let me know.
