21 Feb Volunteer Opportunities

Thanks to everyone who has stepped up to lead a committee or small group this year. What an amazing community we have! If you want to join in the fun, there are still a few committees in need of a chairperson. Let Joyce Oberle know which committee YOU would like to lead in 2025:

· CVQA Library – Committee maintains and stores the guild’s library books and displays them at monthly meetings. An accurate inventory of all library materials owned by the guild should be kept. Chairman purchases new books as necessary. Other committee members help set out books and check them in and out each month.

· Brentwood Library Quilt Display – On a quarterly basis, the committee hangs quilts for display at the Brentwood Library, then takes them down and returns them to the owners.

· Pet beds – Committee collects pillows full of fabric scraps that members have made into pet beds, and delivers them to animal shelters.

· Fundraising – Committee brainstorms and implements plans to generate income for the guild in addition to the bi-annual Quilt Show. This committee needs both a chairperson and committee members.

· Programs – Committee needs volunteers to support Colleen Cassidy in selecting and contracting with lecturers and workshop leaders for 2026 programs and workshops.
