21 Mar April 1 CVQA Speaker Julie Silber – no fooling!

We are excited to welcome our April 1st speaker, Julie Silber. Julie will be speaking to us at our regular meeting location via Zoom. Her talk is entitled “Keepin’ ’Em in Stitches: America’s Funniest Quilts.”

Julie is a respected quilt expert specializing in buying, selling, and appraising antique quilts made between 1780 and 1950. She was the curator of the world-renowned Esprit Quilt Collection in San Francisco and the co-author of Hearts and Hands and Amish: The Art of the Quilt.

In Julie’s words: “Women have always expressed their whole selves in quilts: their love, losses, accomplishments, joys, and sorrows … and their humor!”
