19 May Valerie Needs Your Scraps!

Our 2027 Quilt Show committee is on fire! Valerie Curtis is already hard at work on our raffle quilt for the show and she needs our help!

The quilt top is pictured below. Valerie wants to add a piano key border that is in keeping with the color scheme and scrappy look of the top. She needs LOTS of rectangles in order to do this. Please sort through your stash and bring your appropriate scraps to Valerie at the June 2 meeting. Here are the guidelines:

  • Batik fabrics please (in keeping with the fabrics in the top)
  • Approximately 2.5x 9 inches
  • Any color that coordinates with the top: pink, hot pink, peach, plum, maroon – you get the idea

This is OUR raffle quilt – let’s help Valerie make it a masterpiece!
