2026 is going to be a fabulous year for learning about and celebrating the art of quilting! Here is a preview of what 1st VP Colleen Cassidy has in store for us:
- January 6 – Introduction of programs and workshops for 2026; Presentation of CVQA Committees & invitation for members to sign up
- February 3 – Lynn Rinehart Lecture; Lynn Rinehart Workshop to follow from 1-4 p.m.
- March 3 – CVQA Garage Sale
- April 7 – TBD
- May 5 – Karen Bays presenting on Community Care Committee
- June 2 – Pat McMahon presenting on Quilts of Valor and awarding quilts to veterans
- July 7 – Celebration of our country’s 250th anniversary and all things red, white and blue
- August 4 – Beverly McCullough Lecture with shop hop during meeting; August 5 (Wednesday) Beverly McCullough Workshop from 9-4 p.m.
- September 1 – Kiley Feron Zoom Lecture
- October 6 – Rob Appell Lecture; October 7 (Wednesday) Rob Appell Workshop from 9-4 p.m.
- November 3 – Quilting/Sewing Organization Presentation
- December 1 – Holiday Party
