Hello guild members!

Thank you for all the finished projects you left us at the June meeting. I will have “the little red cart” at our “Christmas in July” meeting at the library. You can drop off your completed CCC projects in the cart while you make a great Christmas craft. However, I will not be bringing in projects to the library for you to pick up and complete at home – you will just have to wait until the August guild meeting!

Since the last newsletter, we have donated 20 pillowcases, 8 tote bags, and 13 Owl Buddies to Love on Wheels. That’s the organization that donates new suitcases filled with essentials to children entering the foster care system. We received the sweetest thank you note from them: they called the pillowcases “the all-time favorite of the children!”

Our workdays are the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at the Bethesda Senior Center. We start at 9 a.m. and end at 2 p.m., so bring your lunch! The next workdays are June 26, July 10, and July 24.
