26 May June 10 (NOT June 3) Guest Speaker

Please note that our June meeting will be held June 10 – not June 3 – at our regular meeting space at Franklin Community of Faith. The church is holding Vacation Bible School the week of June 3rd so we had to reschedule.

On June 10, we are delighted to welcome guest speaker Tracy Hansen from The Dancing Bobbin Quilt Shop in Spring Hill. As you may know, Tracy is a prolific piecer with a great eye for color; and she has advised many of us on how to make our projects go from good to great and great to spectacular! Tracy will share her tips on how to work with panels to create stunning quilt tops. You can find Tracy on Instagram at tracysbitsnpieces.

Tracy’s passion is scrap quilts. As a thank you for her visit, we thought it would be fun to send her home with some scraps for her next creation. If you’d like to participate, bring a fussy cut square (or something fun) up to 10 inches in size for her to put in her next scrap quilt.

As a bonus, the Dancing Bobbin will also bring a few items for a Pop-Up Shop. No cash – cards or checks only please.
