20 Apr May 6 Guest Speaker and Program

Our May speaker by ZOOM is Linda Pearl from One Quilting Circle (photo below). She has several interesting lectures, and we have chosen “Ten Quilters You Should Know and Why (Part 1).” In Linda’s words: “Did you ever wonder how we came to have all the wonderful tools and materials to work with that we have?” Her presentation highlights changes in modern American quilt making in the past 30 years, and Part 1 will take us up to Y2K. I imagine we will see ourselves in the progression of tools, styles, and fabrics!

Remember, we will be meeting in person at Franklin Community of Faith. Our speaker will be first up on the agenda and then Fantastic Finds will begin after the presentation. Details for Fantastic Finds are in the next article.

So as not to confuse things, there will NOT be a Free Table or Show ’n Tell at the May 6th meeting.
