21 Mar Quilts of Valor

Things are moving along with Quilts of Valor!

· On Feb. 24, Pam and I presented a quilt at Vet Court.

· Shirley Garth made and presented a quilt to her sister and is now the favorite sister ever!

· On March 8, Pam and I attended a meeting of American Legion Post 215 and presented 7 quilts. One of the members had passed away and his funeral was that afternoon, but we still had 17 folks there. It was so nice to see old friends and Willie was still talking about his quilt from Vet Fest (four years ago). Joyce and Eileen are still his favorite ladies.

· Jan Edleson (also a DAR member) is presenting 28 quilts to veterans that participated in the last pinning ceremony of Vietnam Vets. She volunteered to do it because I was at a retreat. She is so sweet and kind to help assure our veterans know how much we appreciate them.
